Cloth diapers are washed after use and can be used throughout your child's diaper period.

A cloth diaper consists of absorbent layers of fabric on the inside (inserts) and a waterproof "cover" on the outside (wool or PUL).
Today's cloth diapers are modern and functional, and they also come in various stylish designs. They range from ready-to-use "all-in-one" diapers to foldable ones. At Time Ahead, you'll find modern cloth diapers, that are easy to handle.

A smart choice

For us, it's essential to offer the best for both you and your child. Our diapers are designed for maximum comfort, with carefully selected breathable materials that wick moisture away from your baby's skin. Soft, stretchy fabrics and multiple adjustment options provide the best possible fit. As a parent, it's also crucial for diaper changes to be easy and smooth. In reality, modern cloth diapers are very similar to disposable diapers; the difference is that you wash and reuse them.

For the enviroment

What all parents wish for their children is a better future. By choosing recycled and renewable materials and swapping disposable products for sustainable alternatives, we're doing the planet a great service. Small changes make a significant difference; just using cloth diapers for one child saves the environment from 1 ton of waste!

For your finances

If you believe that cloth diapers are right for you and fully embrace them, you can save up to 1,200 EUR for one child, and a whopping 2,800 EUR for a second child!

Cloth diapers don't have to be an all-or-nothing choice; the key is for you as a parent to find your way into the world of diapers. If you consider the financial aspect of reusing a diaper, even swapping out just one disposable diaper per week can lead to savings.

There's a robust second-hand market for cloth diapers, and their resale value is relatively high. Facebook has a large and helpful community with great groups for buying and selling.

How many cloth diapers do you need?

For full-time use, having at least 24 cloth diapers is recommended. The number can vary depending on how often you can and want to wash your cloth diapers. But for most people, around 24 diapers are enough to rotate through.

Washing and storing cloth diapers

Most people wash their cloth diapers every 2-4 days. Before washing, you can store the diapers in a wet bag, which prevents odors. Store your wet bag in a partially airtight container. A pedal-operated trash can works well.
- Inserts/liners (absorbent) should be washed after each use.
- Pocket diapers should be washed after each use.
- Wool covers should be washed every 3-4 weeks. They stay fresh without frequent washing.
