Use & care instructions - Pocket diaper
How to use
Prepare the diaper
To prepare the diaper for use, carefully place the soft and absorbent insert into the intended pocket of the diaper. This ensures that the diaper is ready to provide maximum comfort and absorbency when needed.
When changing diapers
When it's time for a diaper change, start by tipping any stool into the toilet. This is a hygienic and efficient way to deal with solid waste. Next, take out the used insert. To best preserve both the diaper and the insert, store them in a wetbag or a bucket. It is important that the storage solution allows good ventilation until it is time for washing. This will help minimize odors and keep the diapers fresh until the next wash cycle. Dumping any feces directly into the toilet also contributes to more eco-friendly waste management.
Washing instructions
To ensure a thorough cleaning and long life for your diapers, wash them at 60°C on a long program. It is important to choose a program with extra water, as the absorbent inserts of the diapers are designed to hold a lot of liquid and therefore absorb significant amounts of water during washing. This ensures that the diapers are thoroughly clean. To give your diapers a really long life, we strongly recommend avoiding the use of bleach and fabric softeners, as these can break down the material over time and reduce absorbency. To be kinder to both the diapers and the climate, we recommend avoiding tumble drying. Air drying is an excellent, energy-efficient alternative.
