Use & care instructions - Night diaper
Use of cloth diapers
Preparation of the diaper:
To ensure optimal function, start by attaching the insert firmly to the night diaper. Both the insert and the night diaper are equipped with buttons, making it easy to attach the insert securely and prevent it from slipping. This creates a secure and comfortable fit. To ensure the diaper stays tight and avoid leaks, it is important to always use a diaper cover on top of the night diaper. This additional cover acts as an extra barrier and ensures a dry experience for your baby.
When changing diapers:
When it's time for a diaper change, tip any stool directly into the toilet. This is a hygienic and easy way to deal with solid feces, and it facilitates the subsequent washing process. After the stool has been removed, store the diaper and insert in a wetbag or bucket with good ventilation. A wetbag is particularly practical for storage on the go, while a ventilated bucket is ideal for the home. Good ventilation prevents odors and keeps diapers fresh until it's time to wash.
Washing instructions for cloth diapers
For your cloth diapers to last long and retain their absorbency, wash them at 60°C on a long program. The long program ensures a thorough cleaning. Choose a program with extra water; this is crucial as diaper inserts are designed to hold a lot of liquid and thus they absorb extra water during washing, ensuring they get thoroughly clean. To extend the life of diapers and maintain their effectiveness, avoid using bleach or fabric softener. Bleach can damage the material and fabric softener can reduce the absorbency of the insert. For a really long life of your cloth diapers, we recommend to avoid tumble drying. Air drying is gentler on both the diapers and the environment, making this an excellent eco-choice to contribute to a more sustainable life.
