Prepare the diaper

Place the absorbent insert in the pocket of the diaper so that it is ready for use.

When changing the diaper

Tip any stool into the toilet. Remove the insert and store the diaper and insert in a wetbag or bucket that allows good ventilation until it is time to wash.

Washing instructions

Wash at 60°C on a long program.

Choose a program with extra water (as diaper inserts are designed to hold a lot of liquid, they absorb water during washing)

Do not use bleach or fabric softener, to give the diapers a really long life.

We recommend avoiding tumble drying, as it is gentler on both diapers and the climate.

What is a pocket diaper?

A pocket diaper is a cloth diaper with a pocket where you put an absorbent insert. It looks and works like a disposable diaper, but it can be reused after washing. The absorbent insert is placed in the pocket, and when the diaper is dirty, you simply remove the insert to wash both the diaper and the insert.

How does the diaper stay tight without trapping moisture?

Do I need to change the whole pocket diaper every time?

Yes, as the insert is inside the pocket and absorbs the liquid, both the diaper and the insert need to be changed at each diaper change.

How do I adjust the diaper to fit my baby?

The diaper has height buttons in the front to adjust the size and more buttons in width to fit the waist size. It is good to get 1-2 fingers in the waist for a good and comfortable fit.
